The HALB Lev Chana Early Childhood Center environment is one where young children are nurtured, valued, understood, and challenged to expand their developing minds. The love for learning, the laughter of happy children, and the warmth between teachers and students permeates the air.

LEV CHANA IS THE PRIMARY GATEWAY INTO THE HALB SYSTEM AND IS THE FOUNDATION UPON WHICH ALL ELSE IS BUILT. 

The integrated curriculum at Lev Chana provides learning opportunities through developmentally appropriate teacher instruction, meaningful child centered activities, and enjoyable interactive experiences. This enables our children to develop important fundamental skills in both general studies and Limudei Kodesh. Our Blended Learning Model assists our teachers to deliver differentiated small group instruction, and assess student progress on an ongoing basis. It further enables each child to progress at his/her own skill level. Lev Chana offers an environment that fosters a love of Torah, the Jewish people, Medinat Yisroel, and an understanding of the importance of Mitzvot and Midot Tovot.

Our professional staff at Lev Chana includes warm and loving educators who work together utilizing the whole child approach to education, as they consider each student’s social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth. We at Lev Chana encourage children to become independent learners, explore their Jewish identity, feel proud of who they are, and develop friendships with their peers. With this solid academic foundation and strong sense of self, our children are inspired to become lifelong learners.
